Atkinson Pulls a Conference Double
Women's Cross Country - Sat, Dec. 19, 2015

Life U Cross Country standout Cora Atkinson has been getting it done both in the classroom and in the athletic arena all season long. The junior Chiropractic student from Crawfordville, Florida earned Academic All-Conference based on her stellar grade point average, and then led the Running Eagles to a third place finish in the Mid-South Conference Championships in November, finishing tenth overall to earn 2nd team All-Conference.

Atkinson's accomplishments are a testament to her character and work-ethic. Enrolled in the rigorous Doctor of Chiropractic programs, she spends long hours in lectures and labs, and whether it's in-season, or out-of-season, she is oftentimes up before sunrise running sprints and splits, while also spending time in the weight room for strength and conditioning. She obviously balances it all very well to achieve these results, and the coaches, staff and administration at the University are proud to have Atkinson in a Life U uniform!
